When you create an account or make a booking through our website or mobile app, you provide us with personal information we need to complete your journey. This includes your name, email address, phone number and payment details. We also receive technical data automatically - things like your IP address, browser type, operating system and how you interact with the booking platform. If you use the YOOG Driver application, location data is collected while you are on duty so passengers can be tracked to their pickup and drivers can receive nearby job assignments.
We use this data solely to operate and improve the service. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes without your prior consent.
Your data is used to confirm bookings, match drivers to passengers, process payments, send confirmation messages and handle any queries or complaints. We may also use aggregated, anonymised data to understand usage patterns and improve platform performance. Any processing is either necessary for the performance of your booking contract or is based on our legitimate business interests.
We comply with French Law No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 on data protection, as amended, and with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, update, transfer or delete your personal data. You may also restrict or object to certain types of processing. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at contact@transponyx.com. We will respond within 30 days.
We keep your personal data for as long as your account is active or as required by applicable law. We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect data against unauthorised access, loss or alteration. Payment card details are never stored on our servers - all payment processing is handled by our certified providers, Stripe and SumUp.
The transponyx.com website is hosted by o2switch (France). o2switch acts as a data processor on our behalf and may only access personal data on our written instructions, strictly for the purpose of hosting and database management.
We do not transfer personal data outside the European Union without your explicit prior consent, except where required by law or a court order.
